These short videos and feature descriptions will show you how easy it is to use Aurametrix to connect the dots to better health! See other videos on the Aurametrix YouTube channel.
Enter information into Aura
|
Aura lets you easily enter your health information. Simply type in a health input (a Food, Beverage, or Supplement) or a health output (a Symptom, Feeling, Physiological Process,or Activity) in the search box, select from the matching entry, and add as much detail as you want using the pulldown menus. For example, you can add an entry for "sleep" and specify 6 hours of poor-quality sleep from around 11 p.m. on June 10.
Once you've entered an item into Aura, you can later click down on it to make changes or add more details. |
To copy or delete an entry, check the box beside it and click Copy orDelete You don't need to enter everything you eat into Aura, just one or two items you suspect might be contributing to your symptoms on days you are feeling better or worse than average.
Connect the dots!
|
After a couple days of entries, Aurametrix will have enough data to analyze your information and connect the dots between your health inputs and outputs. Click on Connect the dots! and select an item in the pulldown menu under "Analyze what makes you feel better or worse". It then guides you through the analysis steps. For example, you might discover that, based on your Aura entries, eating papaya or consuming more than 2200 mg of carotenoids in a 12 hour timeframe might contribute to "more severe diarrhea"!

Aurametrix analyzes your data only for the days you entered relevant information. You can easily check which days apply by referring to the historical summary of your symptoms and wellbeing displayed at the top of the page. If you didn't enter a health output such as Symptoms or Feelings on one of those days, Aurametrix provides a convenient link for you to optionally let it know how you felt that day.
Explore causes and effects
|
Aurametrix reports relationships between health variables it has observed across the entire user community. For example, to see what influenced headache for other users, add it to Aura then click on See what influenced Headache for others. You might learn that "Users had More severe Headache 1-3 hours after they consumed 0.2 to 24.4 grams of Sugar ". To find more information about Headache or Sugar, click on their links
You can also explore relationships between your own health inputs and outputs if you have at least two days of entries for both types. |
To produce a list of items that might have influenced your headache, click on See what influenced Headache for you. If one of your health inputs is chocolate, click on See how Chocolate affected you to see which of your symptoms, feelings, physiological processes, and activities might have been influenced by your eating chocolate.
