Liquid products used for cleaning the body introduced by Neutrogena "to treat and help prevent body breakouts for smooth clear skin from head to toe". Body wash does not contain any soap, in the technical sense, althoug could be referred to as "soap", colloquially. Cleansers with a high pH (like many soaps) can strip skin of lipids and proteins, leading to dryness, irritation, redness, and, in some cases, even broken skin leading to infection.
